Wangari Maathai had a rare opportunity to attend university in the United States and to be able to graduate. After she returned to Kenya, she founded the Green Belt Movement. The foundation tackled the issue of deforestation and sustainable agriculture. She helped to plant over 51 million trees! Wangari received the Nobel Peace Prize – the first African woman ever to receive the award.

In 95% made from upcycled textiles. It took 4 pairs of men jeans to create the “Wangari” dress and that’s what makes them so damn special. Get them and help to save 10 thousands litres of water
The “Wangari” dress is fitted at the top but it widens from the hips down. It features fitted sleeves and 2 pockets on the front. The internal seams are green to reflect our coolest logotype.
Wash as rarely as possible. To refresh, fold and place in a Ziploc plastic bag. Leave in your freezer overnight. Take out the next day, give them a vigorous shake and leave until they warm up. Wash cold, do not bleach and do not tumble dry or iron. DO not leave exposed to direct flame or sunlight
